There’s a few clubs downtown, Empire on 15th and R, Avalon on 15th and H, 815 L on 8th and L. Those are all top 40, also Faces and Badlands on 20th and K streets are really fun. You can check out Napkin Nights Sacramento online and there’s club listings, even guest lists. Also look at www.sacticket.com and www.newsreview.com. They have listings.

The Jazz Jubilee is this weekend which is huge so expect old sacramento to be super packed if you wander down there.

I don’t like to work out to rock and I need something really energetic. Something thats when I listen to it I immediately want to do sit ups. I prefer dance, electronic, house, hip-hop, or even some latin, jazz or french music. Please no top forty pop stuff because I already have it (Rihanna, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani etc.) I want some stuff I have never heard before. Really energetic!
